Kundo: Age of the Rampant

“Out of darkness a new hope arises.”

Joseon in 1862 is run by noblemen who grow rich while the starving go without, and a band of outlaws called Kundo has begun taking from corrupt officials to feed them. Dol Moo-chi (Ha Jung-woo) and Jo-yoon (Gang Dong-won) stand on opposite sides of that fight, each pulled into the other's path. Yoon Jong-bin builds the story around a large cast, and the film ends on Dol Moo-chi, bitter and hungry in the cold.
