Kung-Fu Master!

“He was 15. She was 40. Love is where you find it.”

Mary-Jane (Jane Birkin) is a lonely woman of forty, the mother of two daughters, and she finds herself drawn to Julien (Mathieu Demy), a fourteen-year-old schoolmate of her daughter Lucy. Agnès Varda keeps the story small and close, set among the ordinary things of Mary-Jane's life. She wants him, she is old enough to know better, and she cannot tell if she is falling in love or trying to turn back time.
