A lost treasure sends the archaeology professor Jack Chan (Jackie Chan) out of his lecture hall and into a hunt that no map fully explains. He teams up with Jones Lee (Aarif Rahman), and the trail leads from a Tibetan ice cave to Dubai and then to a mountain temple in India. Stanley Tong sends them through each place at a run, and the ice cave stays in the mind longest, the two men small against the white walls, breath hanging in front of them.
