(2018)Directed by Thomas Vinterberg118 min · PG-13Drama, History, Thriller, Action
“Together till the end.”

In August 2000, during a Russian naval exercise in the Barents Sea, the K-141 Kursk suffers an accident and sinks with 118 men aboard. Thomas Vinterberg follows Mikhail Averin (Matthias Schoenaerts), one of the few sailors still alive in the dark, while his wife Tanya (Léa Seydoux) waits on shore for word. A British officer pushes the Russian government for permission to attempt a rescue, and every hour that passes is one the men below may not have.
