L.I.E.
On suburban Long Island, fifteen-year-old Howie Blitzer (Paul Dano) has lost his mother, and his father Marty (Bruce Altman) is away at work. He and his friend Gary (Billy Kay) fill the days breaking into neighbors' houses, until they rob Big John Harrigan (Brian Cox), a former Marine. Michael Cuesta follows the odd, dangerous friendship that forms between the boy and the man, with the expressway that gives the film its title running past the houses nearby.
