La Belle Époque
“If you could live your own life again, would you do it?”
Victor Drumond (Daniel Auteuil) is a disillusioned man in his sixties, and his marriage to Marianne (Fanny Ardant) is on the rocks. A company that rebuilds past eras for paying customers offers him a way out: he picks the week, forty years back, when he met the woman he loved. Nicolas Bedos stages the return as a working film set, with Antoine (Guillaume Canet) directing it and actors stepping into the old roles.
