La Civil

“Never underestimate a mother's wrath.”

Cielo (Arcelia Ramírez) is a housewife in Northern Mexico whose teenage daughter has been kidnapped. The authorities will not help with the search, so she begins looking on her own, with her husband Gustavo (Álvaro Guerrero) beside her. Teodora Ana Mihai follows Cielo's change from a mother waiting by the phone into a woman who goes after the people who took her child.
