La Dolce Vita

“The world’s most talked about movie today!”

Marcello Rubini (Marcello Mastroianni) is a Rome tabloid journalist who wants to write a serious book and keeps getting pulled into the city's parties, nightclubs and society gossip instead. Over seven days and nights, Federico Fellini sends him from one episode to the next, with no plot to hold them together. Emma (Yvonne Furneaux), his girlfriend, offers him a quiet home and a settled life, and he keeps leaving it for the night.
