La La Land

“Here's to the fools who dream.”

Mia (Emma Stone) wants to act, but for now she serves lattes to movie stars and drives from one audition to the next. Sebastian (Ryan Gosling) plays piano for cocktail parties and in dingy bars, scraping by while he holds out for a jazz club of his own. Chazelle sets their love story to song in Los Angeles, and each of them has to decide how much of the dream they will give up to keep the other.
