“Some stories just keep on growing”

Thea Dixon (Lindsay Lohan) is about to lose her assistant's job at a publishing house, and she has an odd way of stopping it: she tells everyone she's pregnant. Lara Shapiro follows the lie as it brings her extra patience, favors and attention from her boss, her coworkers and her family. Nine months is a long time to keep up a pregnancy that doesn't exist, and every kindness she accepts makes it harder to take back.
