Labyrinth of Cinema

A cinema in Onomichi is playing its last night, and when lightning strikes, three moviegoers, Mario Baba (Takuro Atsuki), Torihosuke (Takahito Hosoyamada) and Dugout (Yoshihiko Hosoda), find themselves inside the film on the screen. The world around them has become 1945, just before the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. Nobuhiko Obayashi wrote, produced, directed and edited the film himself, and he cuts it like a man leaving behind everything he knows.
