Lady Chatterley
Constance (Marina Hands) lives with a restlessness she cannot name, ever since her husband Clifford (Hippolyte Girardot) came home from the war unable to make love to her. She drifts toward Parkin (Jean-Louis Coulloc'h), the gamekeeper who works the woods on the estate. Pascale Ferran adapts D.H. Lawrence's earlier draft of the novel, and the film leaves Constance with Parkin's hands, her husband's consent, and a body she has stopped ignoring.
