Lady Chatterley's Lover

“The most notorious novel of the century.”

A physical hunger in Constance Chatterley (Sylvia Kristel) will not go quiet after her husband Clifford (Shane Briant) comes home from the war unable to be a husband to her. With his consent, she looks for what the marriage can no longer give her, and Just Jaeckin follows her from the estate toward Oliver Mellors (Nicholas Clay). Her wanting the body is the film's plain subject, set against a marriage that has stopped being able to meet it.
