Lady in Cement

(1968)Directed by Gordon Douglas93 min · RMystery, Crime, Thriller
“A beautiful body under water. A private eye in over his head.”

Tony Rome (Frank Sinatra) is a street-smart private eye who goes diving for sunken treasure and comes up with the body of a blonde woman, her feet set in a block of cement. Soon after, a hard case named Waldo Gronski hires him to find a missing woman, Sandra Lomax, and Rome starts to suspect the two jobs are connected. Gordon Douglas shoots the trail through Kit Forrest (Raquel Welch) and the racketeer Al Mungar (Martin Gabel) as a plain, brisk detective story.
