Lady Snowblood

Yuki Kashima (Meiko Kaji) wants three people dead: the swindlers who destroyed her family before she was born. Her mother bore her in prison for exactly this, and Yuki was raised from infancy to carry out the killing. Toshiya Fujita sets the hunt against the crowded, shifting years of Meiji-era Japan, and every name she crosses off a list brings her closer to the end of the only purpose she has ever had.
