In the Palmer house, a family is still sorting through the weeks after sixteen-year-old Alice drowned at a local dam. Her mother June (Rosie Traynor) and father Russell (David Pledger) begin noticing things in the rooms that none of them can explain, and a psychic and a parapsychologist are brought in. Joel Anderson tells it through interviews with the family, and the film keeps coming back to how little they knew about the daughter they lost.
