“What Could Be Safer Than Living Next to a Cop?”

Chris (Patrick Wilson) and Lisa Mattson (Kerry Washington) have barely unpacked in their new California home when the neighbor next door starts watching them. He is Abel Turner (Samuel L. Jackson), an LAPD officer who walks the street on foot at night and has made himself its self-appointed guardian. Neil LaBute builds the story on what a person does when a home stops feeling like their own.
