Lamb

“Mother. Nature.”

A newborn that is not quite lamb and not quite human turns up on a remote Icelandic farm, and María (Noomi Rapace) and Ingvar (Hilmir Snær Guðnason) find it in the sheep barn after a birth. They decide to keep it and raise it as their own child, and for a while it brings them joy. Valdimar Jóhannsson, in his first feature, leaves the couple at the farm among their flock, the herd still moving across their land.
