“Right place. Wrong time.”

Dr. Rick Marshall (Will Ferrell) is a has-been scientist on a research expedition when a space-time vortex swallows him, his assistant Holly (Anna Friel) and a redneck survivalist, Will Stanton (Danny McBride). They land in a strange world of marauding dinosaurs and the painfully slow Sleestaks, with no weapons and only a primate named Chaka (Jorma Taccone) to help them. Brad Silberling stages it all as a loud, wide-eyed romp, and the three of them keep walking on.
