“HER BLOOD STAINED EVERY STONE OF THE PYRAMID”

The Pharaoh Khufu (Jack Hawkins) has gathered gold from every conquered land, and he wants it buried with him where no thief or successor can ever touch it. The architect Vashtar (James Robertson Justice), a captive brought in to design the tomb, devises a plan to seal it for good, and Howard Hawks follows the building of the Great Pyramid. Pharaoh sets thousands of men to work so that his wealth can outlast his own death.
