Ray (Dean Imperial), a delivery man scraping together money for his ailing younger brother, takes a gig hauling cable through miles of forest to link large metal cubes for a new quantum trading market. Noah Hutton, who also wrote, edited and scored the film, makes the work a plain slog of lugging and untangling. The deeper Ray goes, the more he leans on Anna (Madeline Wise) and the other cablers, and the harder it gets to see them as anything but competition.
