Lara
On the morning of her 60th birthday, Lara (Corinna Harfouch) walks through Berlin with a few hours to fill before her son Viktor (Tom Schilling) plays the concert that could make his name as a pianist. She was a pianist herself once, and she can't stop calling and calling a son who won't pick up. Jan-Ole Gerster follows her on the long walk, where pride and envy turn out to be the same ache.
