Larry Crowne

“Rediscover life and love.”

Larry Crowne (Tom Hanks) just wants a fresh start after losing the blue-collar job he held for years, so he signs up for classes at his local college. He falls in with a loose crowd of fellow students and develops a crush on his teacher, Mercedes Tainot (Julia Roberts). Hanks, who also directed and co-wrote the script with Nia Vardalos, keeps the story easygoing and close to ordinary working lives.
