Las Poquianchis

Young women answer an offer of honest work as servants and are instead taken into brothels run by three sisters, including Delfa (Leonor Llausás) and Chuy (Malena Doria). Local authorities protect the houses, so nobody who could stop it ever tries. Felipe Cazals, working from the real case of the González sisters, films it in rough, grainy texture that never lets the viewer look away.
