Lassie

“More than a hero. A Legend”

The Carracloughs can no longer pay their bills, so Sam (John Lynch) and Sarah (Samantha Morton) sell their Rough Collie, Lassie, to the Duke (Peter O'Toole), who takes her hundreds of miles from the family. Charles Sturridge films the long walk home through Scotland, Ireland and the Isle of Man. Lassie slips her new home and sets out alone, and every mile she covers is a mile she may not live to finish.
