Last Action Hero

“This isn't the movies anymore.”

A magic ticket pulls Danny Madigan (Austin O'Brien) into the world of Jack Slater (Arnold Schwarzenegger), an indestructible LAPD detective who lives by action-movie logic. When Danny finds himself inside the film, Jack has to step out of his universe to understand what's happening. The film works because it trusts that the best action heroes are the ones who know they're in one.
