Last Chance Harvey

“When it comes to love, is it ever too late to take a chance?”

London in the days around a wedding, where Harvey Shine (Dustin Hoffman), a jingle writer from New York, has flown in for his daughter's ceremony and then misses his flight home. Joel Hopkins puts him in an airport pub across from Kate Walker (Emma Thompson), who spends her days at work, her evenings fielding calls from her mother, and the odd blind date. Harvey has lost his job and gets little welcome from his daughter's family, and Kate has stopped expecting much.
