“This one changed me life, man”

Blake (Michael Pitt), a rock musician worn thin by fame, wanders away from his people and drifts through a big house in the woods, mumbling and barely heard. Friends and relatives drop by, wanting money or a favor, while Gus Van Sant follows him in long, patient takes. Luke (Lukas Haas) and the others share the rooms with Blake, but nobody there ever quite reaches him.
