Last Days in the Desert

Jesus (Ewan McGregor) is nearing the end of his forty days of fasting in the wilderness, and all he wants is to be left alone to pray. Instead he meets a failing family, a father (Ciarán Hinds), a mother (Ayelet Zurer) and a son (Tye Sheridan), and a stranger who looks exactly like him and also wants a say in how things turn out for them. Rodrigo García treats the temptation as a question of what one man owes the people he happens to come across.
