Last Resort

Tanya (Dina Korzun) lands at a London airport with her ten-year-old son Artyom (Artyom Strelnikov), expecting her English fiancé at the gate. He never turns up, so she applies for asylum and is sent to Stonehaven, a worn-out seaside town where refugees are housed. Pawel Pawlikowski watches her there as an amusement arcade manager, Alfie (Paddy Considine), offers help, while the only way back to Russia stays open.
