Last Summer

“Last summer was too beautiful to forget... and too painful to remember.”

Sandy (Barbara Hershey) and Peter (Richard Thomas) spend a summer on Fire Island looking for somebody to be close to, and they find it in Dan (Bruce Davison), a boy who joins them on the beach. Frank Perry follows the three through days of sun and talk, until Rhoda (Catherine Burns), a shy girl, starts hanging around them. She wants in, and the trio has no wish to let her.
