Late Night Trains

(1975)Directed by Aldo Lado94 minThriller, Horror
“Most movies last less than two hours! This is one of everlasting torment!”

Two young women, Margaret and Lisa, board the overnight train from Munich bound for Lisa's parents in Italy and a family Christmas. Also in the carriages are Blackie (Flavio Bucci) and Curly (Gianfranco De Grassi), a pair of hoodlums who fix on them, and an unnamed woman (Macha Méril) who joins in. Aldo Lado sets a holiday journey against the cruelty of strangers, and the film treats ordinary people as capable of the same.
