Latin Blood – The Ballad of Ney Matogrosso

Ney Matogrosso (Jesuíta Barbosa) grows up under a repressive childhood and a strict father, Antônio (Rômulo Braga), and wants to turn his inner fire into music. Esmir Filho follows him from those early years to the stages where he remakes Brazilian performance and himself. Along the way come friendships and love affairs, including Cazuza (Jullio Reis), and his father stays close, even in memory, whenever Ney steps into the light.
