Le Guignolo

Alexandre Dupré (Jean-Paul Belmondo) is an international con man whose last few jobs have gone badly, so he flies to Venice to sell a fake Canaletto to Japanese businessmen. On the plane a stranger asks him to mind a briefcase until they land, and Alexandre agrees. Georges Lautner stages the pursuit that follows at a run, with Belmondo throwing himself into every chase and every fall.
