Le Pont du Nord

Marie (Bulle Ogier) walks out of prison wanting one thing, a briefcase her former lover is carrying, and a young woman named Baptiste (Pascale Ogier), who sees enemies everywhere, attaches herself to the search. Jacques Rivette sends them through the streets of Paris, where every corner offers a clue, a trap or a stranger who may belong to the game. Marie keeps walking, never sure whether she is chasing the briefcase or only following the next square.
