“The Campaign Begins”

Arjun Prasad (Rana Daggubati) steps into the race to become chief minister of Andhra Pradesh the moment his father dies, and he intends to clear corruption out of the state's politics. Sekhar Kammula, in Daggubati's first film as an actor, follows the campaign as it moves through party rooms and crowded public ground. Underneath it all sits one plain question about whether a person can hold power and still keep to what he promised.
