League of Gods

In the reign of King Zhou, a court official walks into the royal bedchamber and is devoured by the monstrous tails of Daji (Fan Bingbing), the king's concubine. Outside the city, warriors argue over how to free the Invisible People until Jiang Ziya (Jet Li) turns up and tells them how Zhou, hungry for power, once let the Black Dragon possess him. Koan Hui adapts the old novel Investiture of the Gods, where the cost of wanting power is paid by everyone else.
