Leave No Traces

In 1983, the police beat a Warsaw high school student named Grzegorz Przemyk to death, and the only witness, Jurek Popiel (Tomasz Ziętek), is suddenly the state's number one enemy. Jan P. Matuszyński, working from Cezary Łazarewicz's book, follows Jurek as officials press him to change what he saw. The film shows plainly how a government can bury a killing, and how little time that takes.
