Left-Handed Girl

Shu-fen (Janel Tsai) hauls her two daughters, I-ann (Ma Shih-yuan) and I-jing (Nina Ye), to Taipei to open a noodle stand at a crowded night market. Tsou Shih-ching, with Sean Baker as co-writer and editor, keeps the family in tight quarters where old family secrets and tradition press in. I-ann and her little sister share a room, a stall, and a mother who has no time to ask what either of them is carrying.
