Brandon Ma (Brandon Lee) is framed for a murder he did not commit, and the man who set him up is his best friend Michael (Michael Wong), a drug dealer who wants Brandon's girlfriend May (Regina Kent). Eight years in jail leave Brandon with one plan for when he walks out. Ronny Yu's film is Lee's first leading role, and what drives it is the old friendship that went rotten between these two men.
