Legend of Dinosaurs and Monster Birds

“An amazing panic attack that hits all of Japan with an intensity of 100!”

Takashi Ashizawa (Tsunehiko Watase) is a geologist who comes to a volcanic lake and finds that dinosaurs still live in the caves beneath it. Akiko Osano (Yōko Koizumi) and Shōtarō Hayashi's Akira Taniki are among those drawn into the discovery, which spreads from the cave mouths to the water's edge. Junji Kurata shoots it fast and grainy on a 1970s Toei budget, with the creatures always pressed close to the frame.
