Legend of the Lost

“Wayne Tangles with Loren...In the Adventure that's Hotter than 1000 Suns!”

Joe January (John Wayne), an American drifter with no steady work, gets hired to guide Paul Bonnard (Rossano Brazzi) into the desert after a buried treasure. Henry Hathaway shot it near Tripoli, and Sophia Loren plays Dita, who is also part of the expedition. Whatever the sand is hiding, the film keeps coming back to what men will give up to go and dig for it.
