Legend of the Mountain

Scholar Ho Yunqing (Shih Chun) travels the mountains with one aim, to translate a Buddhist sutra said to hold power over the creatures of the afterlife. His work draws him into a household and a plot of witchcraft and demons, where Melody (Hsu Feng) and Cloud (Sylvia Chang) are part of a scheme he cannot read. King Hu sets it all in motion, and what Ho stands to lose is his own soul.
