Legends of the Fall

“After the Fall from Innocence the Legend begins.”

Colonel William Ludlow (Anthony Hopkins) wants to keep his three sons close, raising Alfred, Tristan (Brad Pitt) and Samuel on a ranch far out in the Montana wilderness in the early 20th century. Edward Zwick follows the family across nearly fifty years, from the plains to a war and on to 1963. The story holds that loyalty to a family can bind people together and, over a long enough time, tear them apart.
