“When the last angel falls, the fight for mankind begins.”

Michael (Paul Bettany), a fallen angel, arrives at a desert diner to protect an unborn child he believes will stop the end of days. Bob Hanson (Dennis Quaid), his son Jeep (Lucas Black), and strangers barricade themselves inside as possessed people and heavenly forces close in. Through the night, Michael teaches them to fight, and they watch the sky darken and the doors buckle, knowing that what wants in will tear them apart if they fail.
