The Avengers are still celebrating their latest victory when the party breaks up over a missing person. Red Guardian, the father of Black Widow (Laura Bailey), has vanished, and the search soon turns up other heroes gone too, along with a dangerous new foe unlike anything they have faced. Ken Cunningham fills the plastic-brick city with the whole team and its villains, and the story keeps coming back to a family, however odd, that goes looking for its own.
