Lemonade Joe

Lemonade Joe (Karel Fiala) is a gunfighter who drinks nothing but Kola-Loca Lemonade, and he has taken on a saloon town where everyone else drinks whiskey. Oldřich Lipský plays this Czechoslovak Western as a musical, with the grave faces and sincere songs of a genre that has never once been told it is funny. By the end of Joe's first showdown, every real man in town is ordering lemonade, Horác Badman (Miloš Kopecký) glowering at the bar over a glass of whiskey.
