Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events

A fire takes the Baudelaire house and both parents, and no one can say how it started. The three orphans, Violet (Emily Browning), Klaus (Liam Aiken) and baby Sunny, are handed to a distant relative, Count Olaf (Jim Carrey), who wants their fortune and has no intention of waiting. Brad Silberling stages his schemes in crooked sets and costumes, and with every new guardian the children have less time.
