“Growing Up Can Be Painfully Funny.”

In a crowded Montreal household, a boy named Léo has decided he isn't a Québécois Lauzon at all. His mother once fell on a Sicilian tomato, he reasons, so he is Léolo (Maxime Collin), Italian by birth. Jean-Claude Lauzon follows him through the house, his grandfather (Julien Guiomar), and the neighbour Bianca (Giuditta Del Vecchio), and Léolo guards the invented self with everything he has, because his family will not.
