Leptirica

“If fear has its name, then it is LEPTIRICA!”

Strahinja (Petar Božović) wants to marry Radojka (Mirjana Nikolić), but her father, a landowner, will not hear of it. To prove his worth, Strahinja takes a job as the miller at a mill the villagers avoid because of the vampire said to haunt it. Đorđe Kadijević shot this 1973 Yugoslav TV film from an 1880 story, and the quiet between Strahinja and Radojka matters more than the fear around them.
